Real Life Application of Chemical Bonds
Written by cracked out chem students at 1am

“What is the iodide connected to?”
“It’s not really connected to anything, it’s an ionic bond.  It’s just saying to the nitrogen “I’m attracted to you a lot!””
“What happens when they decide to have sex?”
“They better be married because that is a covalent bond, and they’re harder to break.  If the situation gets hot enough they need a catalyst (lawyer) to separate.”

“Hydrogen bonds are like friends with benefits.  It’s all fun and bonding without any long lasting commitment.”

“Dipole-dipole is like dating. They’re together but they are not fully committed because when a stronger molecule walks by they have a tendency to be unfaithful. ”

“Van der Waals forces are like being drunk in a bar.  Because that night you may think you want to be next to them, but then next morning you think “What the F*** was I thinking. The Brits call it London Dispersion Forces because they are drunk in English pubs. ”
So yah, this is what happens at 1am the night before an o-chem test. It started with a legitimate question about an ionic compound. And well...you can see where it went from there....

Yah it was collab as stated above, by: :iconemeraldrhapsody: :iconstardove3: :iconalmightyshadowchan:
