again! So and I were talking on IM. She has expressed some interest in attending the SCA event Harvest Days on Sept. 4 - 6, as her 21st birthday falls on the fifth, and the event is being held on a wet sight, meaning there will be parties and booze! (I'm honestly hoping they bring the pirate ship bar again, I didn't get to party over there.

However, since my original plan was to go with my family, and how packed the car ends up, they said if any one of my friends want to go with me, we will have to find alternate rides.

I was looking at the website, and found out it is free to tent camp that weekend. So yay! It is however $8 a person, and $10 for the feast (Which is totally worth it considering how much food you get and how good quality the food is. We sat with the guy who raised the chickens we were eating at simple days. They were fresh!)

As for dressing up, we really only absolutely need garb for Saturday. We'd probably ride there in street clothes, set up camp (Brenda said we can probably camp with them and share the camp chairs and what not, but if Lil'Becca can bring that tent of hers, much appreciated!), and hang out friday night. Not much will be going on. The majority of stuff will be going on on Saturday I'm pretty sure, including the tournament of chivalry. I have enough stuff that you all are welcome to borrow, I think I even have something Erica can use. And I believe your Ren Faire stuff will work, Alicia. Sunday we'd strike camp and go back to Findlay. It's around Troy, OH, for those that are interested but may end up driving.

The King and Prince will be in attendance, so they may hold court too, which was interesting at first, but I got bored quickly. If you want to check it out but decide to leave early, I will not oppose.
